What would you do if the world is going to end in two days? Krutika Shinde  Nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow or in the future. The world might end in two days and here we are busy with our lives, doing our assignments, attending online lectures, doing work which our boss appointed us to do, helping ourselves daily to cope up with this pandemic, and helping others to survive in this world who lost their loved ones in this battle. Our world has already been shaken down by its core due to such deadly disease which has kept us locked in our specific boundaries for more than a year. The current times have shown us how death is inevitable and whatever might happen in just one day, this pandemic made me realize that there is a possibility that my world might end at any minute so I just need to make the best of my time. Well, we are still learning to survive from this pandemic but what if our whole world is going to end in just two days by some cataclysmic event? What would you

The Sacrifice by Andrei Tarkovsky- Film Analysis

THE SACRIFICE by Andrei Tarkovsky- Film Analysis Krutika Shinde The Sacrifice was the final film made by Andrei Tarkovsky. Since this was his last film, maybe he wanted to show the audience what he thinks and feels in his last moments rather than actually entertaining them.   ROMA by Alfonso Cuaron- Film Analysis Krutika Shinde The start of the film itself was pretty different from other films. The first shot was of a floor being washed which was very simple but felt so different and peaceful as the water was splashing all over the floor. This first shot itself made me believe that the whole movie is about patience. I really can’t believe that I watched a floor being washed for straight over a minute.  Then after this shot, Cleo was shown who actually was washing the floor.  The dog named Borras who was such a happy dog was jumping in and out of the frame while following her, after Cleo went to the washroom, I noticed birds chirping in the cages which was a good distraction for me while waiting for Cleo to come out of the washroom and to see what happens next.  The second thing I noticed is that Roma is in black and white. It was not like old movies with grainy black and white effects. This black and white effect was different as if, we are watching the p
